SHORT-TERM EXCHANGES OF GROUPS OF PUPILS

The topic is “Mens
sana in corpore sano”
The headmaster of Secondary School, Mrs.Stoenescu
Mihaela, the responsible of the project, Mrs. Emanuela Popescu and a member of
the project's staff, Mrs. Mirea Simona welcomed the participants in a short
ceremony.
ACTIVITIES:
1.CURRICULAR
The guest participated
at the school program of Romanian school. They were distributed on age criteria
in appropriate classes according their ages:
4A, 4B, 4C, 5A, 6A, 6C, 7A, 7B, 8B, 8C. The foreign students attended classes
every day together with their Romanian colleagues.
Specific work for the project (elaboration of the
e-magazine “Mens sana in corpore sano”, articles for the Blog and Webpage,
translation of the texts, drawing, working at computer for the uploading photos,
Power Points, movies and others) have been done during the IT, English, arts,
technical classes in common with pupils from all the partners, making necessary
materials also for the International Exhibition.
2. EXTRACURRICULAR
In school
-1st day, after
classes, the STAFF held a special session of foreign students' presentation to
the hosting pupils and teachers. The foreign
pupils presented Power Point and small movies about their schools and about the project's activities under the topic “Mens sana in corpore sano”. The Turkish team presented a small exhibition with
medicinal plants.
For a better cultural presentation of partner countries, each team of pupils presented in their national costumes, a small program of dances and songs.
- 2nd day – it was done a volunteering cultural activity
together with pupils with disabilities from school: egg painting with markers
and wax, dancing traditional dances and singing organized by the project’s team
together with some parents and 2 members of an NGO.
A Graffiti activity
on the fence of the school called "No Violence" - a drawing contoured by student Craciunescu
Matei from 7th grade.
- 3rd day – The foreign students and the Romanian from
the working teams made a common activity of sport and Romanian pottery
activity. Back in school all the pupils from the project prepared the
International Exhibition of photos representative for each project’s partner.
- 4th day – evaluation session with questionnaires were
applied to the students and teachers involved and disseminating activities.
There were also group discussions, interviews and observation made by the
teachers and pupils from the working teams. During the exchange of students the
pupils collected impressions about the activities developed and upload them in
Website, Blog, Facebook and eTwinning.
