Last SHORT-TERM EXCHANGE OF GROUPS OF PUPILS - Denmark

LAST MOBILITY  (VIRTUAL MOBILITY) WAS HOST BY DENMARK

Description of the Virtual Mobility

The last mobility with students and teachers in Denmark was not possible in physical form, but virtually. Before the mobility, during the preparation phase, the coordinators held a video-conference and decided the date, the program of the virtual mobility and the ways to achieve the objectives proposed in the application for this mobility. It was decided that the mobility should take place on 14 - 17.12.2020. Each coordinator decided the number of participants. The daily schedule was from 800 to 1200 Brussels time. The meetings were held on the Google meet platform. During this period in Denmark, Romania and Turkey - the school was only online, in Italy and Spain the students and teachers were present in the school in a small numbers, the rest of the students and teachers participating online. The objectives of the meeting:

- presentation of schools during the pandemic, preventive measures in all schools and traffic restrictions

- each school presented an information about the education system in their country (number of years of compulsory school, teaching materials, school curriculum, etc.)

- joint realization of the last final product of the project, the E-magazines

- Instead of the common volunteer activity, each school presented the social solidarity activities carried out by them in the local communities

- Instead of the joint exhibition, videos and photos about local traditions were presented and some students wore traditional folk costumes. The objectives of the meeting were achieved during the curricular activities as follows:

- At the beginning of each day, the groups of students introduced themselves, publishing their personal e-mail on the chat from the Google meet platform, so that they could communicate directly with each other. After the presentations, the teams presented photos and videos from each school (Monday - Denmark, Tuesday - Romania, - Wednesday - Turkey and Thursday - Italy and Spain) from the current time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Posters were posted in schools informing students about COVID-19 and rules of conduct to ensure their protection.

- Next, the students participated in English classes, during which the texts for the articles in the project magazine, for the blog, webpage were made.

- Students participated in IT lessons in which image processing was performed, their transfer in ppt format and posters were made. In this section, 2 students from Romania (Sofia Tolbaru and Vilcu Filip) presented software for animation and one for inserting subtitles in various movies.

– Students participated in art classes - different drawings were made on graphics tablets and paper that were used to present different moments of their daily lives. Others made drawings of the folk costumes participated in art classes - different drawings were made on graphics tablets and paper that were used to present different moments of their daily lives. Others made drawings of the folk costumes they wore to meetings. The software used was Print shop and Autodesk Sketchbook.

Virtual mobility had a greater impact than we expected - given the fact that many students were at home, the meeting was attended by brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents who were curious to see some activities presented - movies, ppt, discussions. At the end of the meeting there were discussions between the students and the participating teachers and everyone was very pleased with the great mobility of the students at these meetings. As evaluation methods we used the questionnaires made by each school and the discussions at the end of each day on the Google Meet site. Also, the large number of e-mails and Instagram addresses posted by students gave us the size of the general enthusiasm.
